Mildred Shook Obituary
SHOOK, Mildred L. 98, of Enon, passed away August 23, 2025, in Vancrest of New Carlisle. She was born on January 1, 1927, in Worthington, PA, the daughter of Harry and Catherine (Dunigan) Toner. Mildred was a longtime member of Knob Prairie United Church of Christ and was a big supporter to the Veterans Park in Springfield. She is survived by one sister, Janice Covey, Ft. Collins, CO; one sister-in-law, Betty Baird, Springfield, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Maurice Baird, husband, Colonel Eldon G. Shook; five siblings, James Toner, Jane Lucietich, Mary Anne Ark, William Baird and John Baird. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Knob Prairie United Church of Christ, Enon, Ohio.
