Ditty, Minnie Wanda

Minnie Wanda Ditty, fondly known as Wanda, gracefully departed this world to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on January 14, 1932, in Casad, Crittenden County, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of the late Lourenzia and Minnie Easley. Wanda's early years were spent in Kentucky, but she was led to Chicago, where she embarked on a career with the Illinois Central Railroad. In 1952, she relocated to Springfield, Ohio, to raise her family, a place she would call home for the rest of her life. A devoted member of The Church of God in Anderson, Indiana, Wanda's faith was the cornerstone of her life. Her passion for service was evident in her commitment to both global and local missions, often traveling with her beloved husband, Larry, on mission trips well into her 70s. Her dedication to helping others and spreading love was truly inspiring. Wanda leaves behind a loving family, including her devoted husband of 37 years, Lawrence "Larry" Ditty; her children, James B. Kueker, David R. (Tara) Kueker, and Harriet (Mark) Snow; her stepchildren, David (Shannon) Ditty, Diana (Steven Pavick) Ditty, Linda (Matt) Beck and Darla (Mek) Logan. She was a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Wanda's warmth and kindness also touched the lives of numerous friends and extended family members. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her nine brothers and seven sisters, who she now joins in eternal rest. To honor her life, private family services will be held at Richards, Raff and Dunbar Memorial Home, Springfield, with a subsequent funeral service at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, Kentucky. She will be laid to rest at Mapleview Cemetery, a fitting resting place for a life well-lived. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International.
