Nancee COPAS Obituary


News Death Notice

COPAS, Nancee A., (Touhey) age 75 of Englewood, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Copas in 1987. Survived by her children Chris (Cindy), Laura McCray (Mike), Jeff (Teri), Ann Clemens (Bob) and grandchildren Diana and Breanna Copas, and Kristen, Daniel, and Abby Clemens, 2 sisters Sandy McArdle and Cheryl Tarvin and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, family and friends. She was a graduate of Fairmont West High School and Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing. Nancee retired from Grandview Hospital after 35 years of service. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. Nancee will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and her love of family and travel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Rita Catholic Church by Father Timothy Knepper C.PP.S. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in Nancee's memory. The family would like to express their gratitude to the nursing staff and Grandview Hospital and the Hospice of Dayton for Nancee's care.
