McKeen (Clark), Nancy Carolyn

Nancy C. McKeen, 89 of Crossville, Tn passed away on, Aug 6, 2025.

She was born on March 15, 1936 to Sylvester Vance (S.V.) and Satia (Houck) Clark of Logan, Ohio and had 9 siblings, of which Helen Marlene Jakeway is the surviving sister. The family moved to Springfield, Ohio when she was in elementary school. Nancy graduated from Springfield High then went on to be a telephone operator for OHIO Bell. She married her high school sweetheart, James W. Castillo (d.1959) who preceded her in death. A daughter was born to them, Carolyn Jo (1958). Nancy went on to marry John R. McKeen (d .2024) and had 2 children, Kellee A (1966) and John W (1967). They continued to raise the 3 children in Springfield, Ohio.

Nancy's passions were faith, family and fun. She loved her family to include her grandsons, Brandon McKeen, Dallas Pritt, Dakota (wife-Taylor) and great grandson Maverick Pritt. Her life was full of supporting her Australian husband of 60 years with horse stables and farm life. She lived by a list and a schedule ensuring everything would be accomplished. In her spare time, she loved playing card games, watching football, reading the bible, and cleaning her house. From her childhood on, she loved the Lord and always attended church. She was a member of the Church of God in Springfield, Oh where her uncle was once the Minister. Upon moving to Tennessee, she attended the First Church of The Nazarene.

Nancy was a very quiet, sweet person with a loving demeanor and a dry sense of humor who would support, listen and serve. She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by those who knew her.

A service was held to honor Nancy at First Church of the Nazarene Crossville, TN. She was laid to rest at Berry Highland West Knoxville, TN.
