Family-Placed Obituary

JENKINS, Nicholas "Nick" Steven Sr. age 45 of Dayton and resided in Germantown, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Sunday, January 22, 2006 at Greene Memorial Hospital. Nick worked as a handyman in construction, trim carpentry, remodeling, and tree trimming as he would say "Jack of all Trades Master of none." Nick was a member of the Huber Heights First Baptist Church on Packard Road. He will be sadly missed by all who loved and knew him. Nick is survived by his son, Nicholas Jenkins, Jr. of Dayton/Germantown; grandson, Nicholas III; childhood sweetheart and life long friend, Tonya McDaniel; mother & step-father, Helen and Bill White of Germantown; sister, Jan Hendrickson; nephews, Steven Jr. Curtis, Justin, and Austin Hendrickson all of Huber Heights; niece, Amanda Bicknell of Germantown; special friends, Ed, Pandy, Sabel, and Ed Jr. of Xenia; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nicholas was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Earl Jenkins, brother, Brian C. White, maternal grandparents, David and Vera Lightcap and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Pearl Jenkins, Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at Huber Heights First Baptist Church on Packard Road. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.NewcomerFamily.com

I was so shocked to hear about nick,we all just recently found out. If we would have known we would have been there to say goodbye to him. Nick was a part of all of our lives at some point in our life.
