Norris BOURDOW Obituary
News Death Notice
BOURDOW, Norris James "Knarly Butt" age 72 of Dayton, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014. He worked for many years in Industrial Sales. Norris was an avid sailor and was a former member of the Cowan Lake Sailing Association and a current member of the Indian Lake Yacht Club. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Indian Lake. He is survived by his bride: Marilyn (Karch) Bourdow, children: Kimberley (John) Meegan of Columbus, Stephen (Sarah) Bourdow of CA, Michelle Lyddon of Columbus, Kerrie Davis of FL, step son: Kevin (Melissa) Karch of CO, 10 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, brother: James Bourdow of MI, sister: Grace Brown of FL, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Winifred (Norris) Bourdow, brother: Alfred Bourdow and granddaughter: Grace Kome. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. until time of services. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Honor Flight. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.KindredFuneralHome.com

Marilyn, my heart goes out to you during this sad time. Norris sounds like he was a man that lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it, and it certainly sounds as if many people were blessed to have known him. You must have had a beautiful life with him.

Marilyn - Chuck and I are so grief-stricken by this news. We really loved Norris and considered him a cherished friend for the past 25 or more years. We will miss him so much and hope you can stay strong. We know he was the love of your life and your grief must be overwhelming
