Family-Placed Obituary

COLLINS, Opal Pearl age 66, of Dayton, passed away at Kettering Medical Center on Monday, March 5, 2007. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles A. and Eunice (Landreth) Mikles and brother, Charles Mikles. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Walter "Jack" Collins; 3 daughters, Penny Collins, Nicole Collins, Jackie (Greg) Grigsby; 2 grandchildren, Lyndsey Grigsby, Macy Grigsby; 3 sisters, Ocra Auxier of Jacksonville, FL, Ottie Dunaway, Oretha Muncie; 2 brothers, Arthur (Joy) Mikles, Ray (Diane) Mikles and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Ladies Social League at Pla-Mor Lanes for many years. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday March 9, 2007, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. with Pastor Stuart Snow officiating. Interment Valley View Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, March 8. Condolences may be sent to her family at www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.

MY SISTER WAS VERY SPEACIAL TO ME. WE HAD A LOT OF GOOD TIMES . WE HAD A LOT OF GOOD LAUGHS . MY SISTER WAS A WOMAN WHO ENJOYED LIFE . SHE FOUND GOOD EVEN IN THE BAD . SHE WAS SO GREATFULL FOR HER HUSBAND JACK AND HER 3 DAUGHTERS .SHE LOVED THEM SO VERY MUCH OHH THOSE GRAND BABIES ARE WHAT GAVE HER THE WILL TO KEEP ON GOING THATS ALL SHE TALKED ABOUT WAS YOU ALL. I KNOW IN MY HEART MY SISTER IS WITH GOD .EVEN BEING SO SICK WHEN IN THE HOSPITAL THE LAST TIME I SAW HER SHE WAS IN GOOD SPIRITS AND SHE OF COURSE WAS LAUGHING AND SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL . I KNOW SHE STILL IS IN HEAVEN SHES WITH MOMMY AND DADDY AND CHARLES HAVING THE TIME OF HER LIFE .EVEN THOUGH WE MISS HER SOO .IT EASES MY PAIN TO KNOW SHES OKAY . I LOVE YOU SIS . ILL MISS YOU .
