Huelsman, Patricia Ann

Patricia Ann Huelsman, age 89, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025. She was born on February 6, 1936, to Mary Jane and Joseph Macklin. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, David Huelsman. She is survived by her loving children: Karan (Cary) Gibson, Kristopher Huelsman, Kevin Huelsman, Brian (Lynn) Huelsman, Steven (Debbi) Huelsman, and Kathleen (John) Steiner. She was also a devoted grandmother to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patricia was a dedicated registered nurse. She completed her nursing education at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, and went on to serve for 38 years at the University of Dayton Health Center, where she cared deeply for her patients and colleagues. In retirement, Patricia remained active and engaged in her community. She volunteered for several years at Kettering Hospital as a Eucharistic minister. She also enjoyed many hobbies, including playing bridge, traveling, participating in water aerobics, and reading avidly. She will be remembered for her compassion, strength, and unwavering love for her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 10:30 am at St. Charles Borromeo Parish (4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45429). The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until the time of service. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
