My sympathies to the deSouza family. I was very sorry to hear about Pat. My brothers, Henry and John, would let me tag along with them for the Wednesday night soccer practices at Edelweiss, which were usually followed by sandwiches, beer and cards. I was able to get to know Pat through those times and remember Pat as always being friendly and entertaining.
Sincerely, Adam Wagenbach

I am very sorry for your loss. The last time I saw Pat was in Columbus for the FC Dallas game. He was weak but very pleasant and friendly. Pat was very knowledgeable in the game of soccer and most importantly the game of life. I know his lifelong mentoring of Schellas is something that he loved doing. He will be missed.

I was very sad to learn of Pat's passing. Pat coached me in 1993 at Northmonth High School. He was a terrfic coach and even though he was 35 years our senior, he could show any of us up when it came to shooting a ball on goal. Every guy on that team liked Pat--a lot. My thoughts and prayers are with the deSouza family.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Stringer
