Pete was a friend to all, a role model for younger lawyers, and a very cherished member of the Dayton legal community. You could look up to him, and you could count on him. He made lawyers younger that him feel validated, and his approach to the practice of law was something to be imitated. Frankly, in my experience there was no one else like him that I can think of, as a unique combination of friendliness and kindness to colleagues coupled with intensity in his practice and knowledge of the law. And of course there was his great sense of humor. It was a privilege to know Pete, and it is a very sad day. Our best to his friends and family. We are better people for having known and interacted with Pete.

My wife & I met Pete at Vandalia pickleball. We became friends immediately, as Pete & I knew lots of the same people. I loved my chats with Pete, he was always a funny & kind guy. I will miss Pete, he had so much to offer to friends everywhere. Our condolences to Pete´s family.

I was so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. I started working for Pete in the 1970's and continued until he retired. He sure was one of a kind. I have so many "Pete" stories I wouldn't even know where to begin! To his family, my sincere condolences; I wish you peace and comfort during this time.
