Philip Pacey Obituary
News Death Notice
PACEY, Phillip A. Jr., age 86, of Huber Heights, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born August 5, 1924 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Phillip A. Sr. & Carmelita Pacey. Phillip was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran who proudly served at Iwo Jima. He was a member of the Forest Ridge Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Produce One. Phillip is survived by his children, Steve, Cliff, Tom & wife, Debbie, Bev & Joan Pacey; 1 brother, Charles "Buddy" Pacey & wife, Barbara; 6 grandchildren, Connie, Kristin, Michael, Andrew, Susie & Lisa; special niece & nephews, Jenny, David & Tim and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Celebration will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 16 at the Forest Ridge Baptist Church, 6890 Union School Rd., with Pastor Russell Gross officiating. Inurnment at Dayton National Cemetery will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 pm until time of service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Forest Ridge Baptist Church in Phillip's memory. Interment at Dayton National Cemetery will be held at a later date.

I remember the many conversations we had in my office. You were truly my hero for your service to our great country. You were genuine in all that you did and always gave it every thing you had. I know you are where you always wanted to be and I know that you are enjoying your new life. Say high to the big guy! I will truly miss you and you will always be in my thoughts. Thanks for being a great friend.
