Philip SHANKS Obituary
News Death Notice
SHANKS, Philip Destiny Age 21; an angel who was called home on Monday, May 4, 2015. "Heaven couldn't wait for you". He was born on June 24, 1993 in Muskegon, MI, but called Dayton, Ohio his home. He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Shanks Sr. Philip is survived by his biological mother, Marcia Graves; his mother, Tracy Decaille; his siblings, James Pivacek, Jonathan Sullivan, (Eric) and Christine Sullivan, Arthur Shanks Jr., Gordon Sutton, Daniel Shanks, Earl and (Caroline) Nichols, Phallynn Jones and Christopher Jones. Philip is also survived by numerous family members and friends. He was loved by many and inspired people from across the world and from various backgrounds. He will truly be missed and forever in our hearts. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., SATURDAY, May 16, 2015 at THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 4520 Salem Ave., with Kimberly Hobart-Bayless, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment: Reception to follow, with location TBD. On-line condolences may also be sent to the family at www.thomasfunerals.com
