Kay, after all these years, I think of “Dr. Phil” as being at the top of the list of incredible people I worked with at St. E. I often think of your suffering at having lost him. Peace is always my wish for you.

Kay, I just heard today of Phil's death when we got our electricity back after the ice storm. I know this has been a very long hard battle that he has gone through. Phil and I talked about many things while I cared for Dad and I so enjoyed hearing him talk about you, Patty, Lowell and the rest of the family. I know how much you all meant to him. He always said you were his very best friend. Just know Phil, you and the family has enriched my life tremendously. No one wants to let go of someone they love so dearly but he will be watching down over us now from Heaven and will be with Dad and Ms. Hilda. I will keep you and the family in my heart and prayers as you all mean the world to me.

Kay,
I worked with Dr. Ward at Ft. Hamilton hospital. He was a wonderful man and Doctor. He had a great sense of humor and was admired and respected by all of us here. We shared many fish tales and many silly jokes. I know he fought a long hard fight and I am truly sorry he is gone. His spirit will live on here at Ft. Hamilton. God Bless.
