Phyllis A. DOOLEY

1932 - 2018

DOOLEY, Phyllis A. 85, of Springfield, passed away peacefully in her home January 5, 2018 with her family at her bedside. She was born January 9, 1932 in Ironton, Ohio to Richard and Geraldine Tordiff. She was a retiree of the Kroger Co. where she worked for many years. She is survived by her children Charlotte (Dale) Trapp, Charles (Bev) Dooley, James (Deb) Dooley, grandchildren Lisa, Chuckie, Angie, Jenny, Bryan, Dustin, Kris, Joshua and Carisa, great grandchildren Savannah, Chloe, Callie, Joey, Sydnee and Taylor, sister Donna (Jim) Huffman and several nieces and nephews, especially Art (Linda) Cason. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Charles Dooley, son Joseph Dooley, grandsons Jason Hess and baby Joey Dooley, sister, Pat Nickell and brother, Richard Tordiff. Phyllis was a spirited woman who loved her church and family and was much loved in return. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Brian Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Asbury Chapel Cemetery.
