Hunt, Robert Earl

Robert Earl Hunt, age 77, of West Milton, passed away on August 27, 2025. He was born May 10, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, and was a man who favored care over hurry. He spent nearly three decades with the John R. Jurgensen Company and he loved what he did. If you asked about his work, he'd grin and say, "I help turn big rocks into little rocks." He cherished weekends at the lake, where careful plans turned into sturdy things, and ended many evenings by dunking oreos into milk. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jill (Clark) Hunt, and his son, Tyler Jordon Hunt, who both love and miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Jean (Frazell) Hunt.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 2nd at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton, with interment at Riverside Cemetery.
