To Bob's family. I met Bob many years ago when I was working for Dayco Corp Flight Dept. We loose track of friends when moving around as a flight crew member but I want you to know that Bob was a great guy and not forgotten. I'm sorry he left his earthly life too soon. I know the feeling of loss. Fred Mokray, Picayune, MS

Rick and I have known Bob since our children were very young. It has been a pleasure to know Bob because he always brought laughter and fun to every occasion. There was never a dull moment when Bob was around. He was a hard worker and reached out to help any one who needed help. If you needed something done, Bob was the man. The well-known fishing trips just won’t be the same. We hope there are some big fish in heaven or at least some big fish stories being told. May God keep all of you in the palm of his hand.

I remember Bob as such a nice and caring person. He was fun to be around. I remember working with him on the prom. We had such a small class at St Joe's but we all got along very well. He was a big part of our class. Very saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to his wife and family. Janice Elchert Kemmer

Bob would always greet my cousins and me with a hearty "Hi Boys" and a giant smile whenever he saw us growing up. I started greeting him back with a "Hello Lady," which anyone who knew Bob knew he was no lady in more ways than one. Bob was always a dependable hard worker. Every year we would see him devoting hours to making the church festival a success.

Bob was a great friend to my dad. I know dad always enjoyed Bob's company and humor on their many fishing trips over the years. Bob was always willing to help with other people's home projects, including my own, and he never asked for anything in return. We all lost a great man and a great source of light and love. My thoughts and prayers are with all who loved him. I know his spirit and generosity lives on through his family and friends.

I was privileged to work with Bob at Orion Air, Ryan International, and Stevens Aviation. No one who worked with him will ever forget him. In over fifteen years of working with him there's only one thing I never saw Bob do--and that was give up--on anything or anybody. He mentored so many. His professionalism, humor, and sense of community will always be remembered by those who knew him. A fine man and a consummate professional.

Dave and I met Bob through dear family friends in the 1970s. From that first meeting we loved him! Somehow Bob knew how to become your friend immediately.
While we did not get to be with the Kneuve family as often as we would have liked, our memories of Bob always bring great smiles.
He was generous, kind, inclusive and as everyone who knew him would agree, funny!
Dave and I admired Bob not only for his intelligence and humor but also for his dedication to family, friends, and community. His was a life well lived.
Jackie, Tim, Kim and Sandra, our hearts go out to you. We hope that all the love and admiration for Bob can bring you some comfort.

Jackie, my heart felt condolences, comfort; may God bless you and your family. Bob will be missed by too many to name.

God's speed my friend.
Bob is one of those unique characters I've met in my aviation career. I first meet Bob at Ohio aviation back in the 80s. I worked with him at Orion Air, Ryan and Custom air.
I learned a lot from him. He could be demanding but I believe he was trying to make you the best mechanic you could be.
My sincerest condolences to his family. I doubt anyone who ever met him or worked with him will forget him.
Rest easy my friend.

Bob and I worked together for Dayco Corporation’s Flight Department in the 1980’s when Bob was Dayco’s Cheif of maintenance. Corporate Aviation has no scheduled work hours, days off or holidays and maintenance had to be done between flights, sometimes at very odd hours. Bob was always a true professional working under pressure of deadlines, we became good friends through our working relationship and I came to have a deep respect for his knowledge, skill, professionalism and loyalty.
I know he will be missed by all who have known him.

God bless you, Rest In Peace my friend.

Jackie, Tim, Sandra and Kim- I’m so sorry to hear about Bob (or Mr. Knueve to me). It’s amazing how many of my childhood St Peter memories have come right back to me with Bob in so many of them, because he was involved in so many things volunteering at church and school. My condolences in his sudden passing.

I knew Bob when I worked at Airwork Corporation at the Dayton Airport. I was hired by Ohio Aviation, and Bob helped train me on Beechcraft King Airs at Ohio Aviation in the 70's. We developed a work friendship, and I could always depend on him to assist me in learning and then performing the mechanical procedures used to maintain the aircraft and engines that we serviced for our customers. I used to get him to smile and roll his eyes with my "off the wall" sense of humor...and as the few years of employment went by...I could actually get him to laugh out loud occasionally. I last saw him a few years ago, when I was visiting Dayton and dropped by Stevens to say hello to him and others that still are employed there. Bob was really good people. His expertise on the aircraft was so good that I named him "Dr. Bob"...and actually would address him as such for years after I gave him the name. I grieve for Bob and pray for him and his family . Bob is within sight of the Lord, and his soul is secure in the love of The Lord. I offer my condolences to Bob's wife and the family.
