I didn't know you much, I only know we attended school for a short time together, and Sam Earick told me. And God laid sadness on my heart for some reason, even though we barely knew each other, my soul is grieving like an open wound that was busted open, and I think it's God's love emerging out unto the world because of your death.

Jason-
From all that I've read, your nephew had a kind and gentle spirit. May that same spirit surround you and your family in the days ahead. My deepest sympathies to you, Julie, your parents and other loved ones.

Our Robbie - - - Where do I start? We have known Robbie since he was in his mommy's belly. From the day he was born, we could all tell that he was a very special boy and that he was the one that made his mom's life complete. He was such a mama's boy. It is very easy to see how many lives he has touched and how many people loved and cared about him. I know that every one in our family does. Robbie and my kids grew up together, almost like brothers and sisters. We went on vacations together, laughed together in good times and prayed together and cried together in sad times. His eys sparkled like an evening star and his smile could turn any frown upside down. He was always so easy to talk to, always hearing with a listening ear. I do not ever remember him being a problem kid, unless you consider it a problem that he would only eat chicken nuggets and fries when he was a little boy. If that is the worst you can say about a kid, I would listen to it anytime. In the last few years we watched Robbie gorw and listened to his boy like voice turn into a true gentleman's voice, and true gentleman is what he was govwing up to be. Robbie was a very respectful boy. To his mom and stepdad, and to his grandma and the kids he grew up with. I honestly do not believe that there was a desrespectful bone in his body. I have loved Robbie like one of my own and my kids have loved him like a brother. We will all miss him so very, very much. We would like to make it very clear to all of Robbie's family that our family is praying for them and that we will always be there for them. During these times no one can take away the pain of it all and no one can make it better. People will say that it will get better in time, but I totally understand that it just looks like and feels like you just do not want to or can not go on. At these times, I encourage you to stay close to your family and talk, talk, talk with them. Also, I encourage you to listen, listen, listen without saying a word. This can help more than anything.
We love you all more then words can say.

They say that God never gives us more than we can bear, but at times it is hard to keep believing that. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during the difficult days ahead. I pray that the Lord will give you the strength needed to get through this time in your lives.

My three kids all knew Robbie & were touched by his presence in some way. I met him when he & his buddies came to our home & made a haunted trail in our woods. They sure made some memories doing that. I know there will be a void in many places & in many lives, but the memories each person has of him will help get them through. You have my sincere sympathy and I pray peace finds you & your family.

It is amazing to hear what a powerful impact Robert had on many of his fellow classmates and those that spent much time with him at the Barn. I didn't know Robert but my daughter did. She talks very highly of him. And just by listening to her I know he will be sadly missed by all that knew him. As a parent myself, I could not fathom going through what you are going through now. Just know that God will get you through this. Remember the great times you did have with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to all that knew him.

I am so very sorry for your loss. There is nothing I can say to help with the pain, however I can tell you I know how much it hurts. I lost my 13 year old daughter Jocelyn last year so I understand the pain. I may not of lost her in the same way you lost Robert but rest assured the loss of a child is something I never wish for another parent to feel. My thoughts and prays are with you, your family, his friends and everyone who was touched by his life.

I went to school with him in elementary school at Milton. Robbie and I didn't talk much, but we did a little bit, and i knew him from places we both hung out at through middle school and part of high school. Although I wasn't close to him I still want to give my condolensces. It's hard to hear that someone your age passes, especially when they are only 16 and someone who had so much life to live. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family.
