Schawann II, Robert John "Rob"

Robert John Schawann II, age 64, of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 in his home. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 31, 1961 the son of Robert J. and Ruth (Baum) Schawann.

Rob was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a proud graduate of Immanuel Lutheran School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University.

Rob worked in the yard care business his entire life, mowing lawns for families he loved and considered friends. He also spent the last decade working at Goodwill Industries in Evendale.

Rob deeply loved his family, his church, his country, and all things hockey. His greatest joy was helping people. His faith was his guiding light.

Survivors include his sister, Connie (Scott) Lindsay; nephew, Bryce (Claire) Lindsay; nieces, Sara Lindsay (Daniel Beringer) and Niki Fox; grandnieces, McKenzie, Kylee, and Avery; grandnephews, Brady and James, and several beloved cousins and their families.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, and his sister, Karen Sue Fox.

A memorial service will be held at 11am Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1285 Main St. Hamilton, OH 45013, followed by private interment in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am on Tuesday in the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran School,1285 Main St., Hamilton, OH 45013.
