Family-Placed Obituary
SPAULDING, Robert E. age 89 of Kettering passed away Saturday August 5th , 2006 at Life Care Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife Agnes in 1999 and is survived by three daughters Barbara Jean Storms of Kettering, Susan O. Hutchinson and husband John R. of SC., Sally J. Hornsby and husband Darroll of AL., a sister Barbara L. Spaulding of Saddle River, NJ., grandchildren Sean D. Storms, Jason R. Storms, Robert Bruce Crabtree, Matthew Kenneth Lamberth, John D. Lamberth, Ivy Hornsby, great-grandchildren Jessica Storms, Cierra Benedetto, Nessa Storms, Cora Crabtree, Brittany Lamberth, Matthew Lamberth, Kelsie Fannin, and Drew Fannin. He was a US Army veteran of WWII. Mr Spaulding was a very active volunteer at the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum where he logged over 31,000 hrs. of service. He was vice president of Dayton Press. Memorial Service will be 2 pm Saturday August 12th , 2006 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL 5471 Far Hills Ave at Rahn Rd. Pastor Donald Payne officiating. Friends may call from 1 hr prior to service time Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Air Force Museum in his memory.
