Family-Placed Obituary

STAGGS, Robert A. Age 81 of Dayton, passed away Saturday 3/29/2008 after a lingering illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; his parents, William & Mary Staggs; brothers, Charles & Kenneth; sisters, Violet, Ona Montgomery, and Beulah Spicer. He is survived by his daughter, Patti Staggs; his grandson, Gary Wayne Staggs; sister, Dorothy Jones; 2 nieces; 4 nephews; Many other relatives and friends, especially his dear friends, Frank & Jeannie Spanbauer. He was a member of Our Lady of The Rosary Church. He served in the NAVY (1945-1946) during WWII and was a member of the Tony Stein (619) American Legion Post. He was employed by Weiffenbaugh Marble and Tile Co. for 20 years, and by Childrens Medical Center for additional 20 years, after which he retired. He was co-owner with his wife of Bev's Boulevard Cafe, and the founding President of the Saturday Breakfast Cklub. Visitation will be held at the MAGETTI GAVIN FUNERAL HOME, 1508 Valley Street, Wednesday from 11AM to 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at 1PM Wednesday with Father Michael Holloran Officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Rosary Church.

BOB WAS THE FUNNIST MAN AND HE LOVED EVERYONE. HE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL WHO KNEW HIM. GOD WILL HAVE LOTS OF LAUGHS LISTING TO BOB'S STORIES OVER COFFEE. BLESS YOU.
