Family-Placed Obituary
THACKER, Roger K. age 59 of Dayton, OH passed away Tuesday Nov. 27, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital. Roger is survived by his wife Barbara Thacker and her children Jessie & Jason, father Perry Thacker, daughter Roberta Thacker, son Todd Thacker and siblings Robert Thacker, Pam and husband George Kirkpatrick, Randy and wife Christine Thacker, nephews and grandchildren, A memorial service will be Saturday Dec. 1, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 272 Bainbridge St., Dayton, OH with Fr. Rick Friekel officiating. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.

Dear Honey,
You are so far from me, I can't bear it. I love you with ALL my heart, and always will. I miss you sooo much. I can't wait till I see you again. You are in God's hands now. Trust Him, for He has all the answers. We were suppose to grow old together, we are a team. Now I have to go on without you. Your the only one who made sense of this world. Nothing makes sense now. Sleep now honey and get your rest, I will be with you.

I chatted to Roger online a few times, and his wife Barbera is a regular contact. I was on holiday when I learned the sad news, and offer my condolancies to Barbera and the family. Please, family friends out there, show your support and love for Barbera at this most difficult time.

I remember Roger as a great guy, full of fun and caring.
Was hoping to run into him when I get back to the Dayton area. Guess I'll have to wait for heaven for that now.
