Carolyn Thacker Obituary
Sue loved to travel, especially to the Smokey Mountains, enjoyed old country music and studying the Bible.
She was born on June 1, 1947 to Juanita and Clarence Mullis.
She grew up in Bloomington, Indiana where she also raised her family. She worked for a while as a custodian at MCCSC as well as the College Mall.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry Thacker, a son, Kevin Thacker, granddaughter, Jessica Thacker, grandson, Matthew Thacker, brothers, Marvin Ray Mullis, Donald Mullis, Darrel Mullis, and a sister, Shirley Hendricks.
She leaves behind a daughter, Darlene Thacker, son, Randy (Mary Anne) Thacker, and son, Steve (Milly) Thacker, as well as nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Also, her siblings, Doris (Don) Yoder, Larry Mullis, Rick Mullis, Tim (Yvette) Huffman and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at Clear Creek Cemetery on Monday, February 2, 2026, with Rev. Michael Douglas officiating.
Donations can be made to White River Humane Society.
The family would like to give special thanks to DeVita Hoosier Hills Dialysis for all their care and compassion.
