Mr. Niederman was my scoutmaster in the nineteen eighties. I have fond memories of the camping trips, the Chicken BBQ fundraisers there at the church, and hiking into downtown Salisbury. My family and I moved to another state in 1985 but I loved scouting so much that I found another troop and went on to become an Eagle Scout. Later in life, I became an adult scouter and served in numerous roles. I share this because it all started at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, where Mr. Niederman was scoutmaster, and gave of his time and resources to make a positive impact on the lives of the youth in that troop. It wasn´t until I was an adult that I fully appreciated how much of a commitment it is. I am glad I got pay it forward. Mr. Niederman, your life mattered. Your contributions to scouting mattered. I am forever grateful.

Sorry to hear about Mr. Niederman's passing. I would always enjoy talking with him when I would visit my mom that was next door to him. If he heard me talking in mom's room he would come to her door. He was such a joy to me and had the sweetest spirit.

Ron was a joy to be around , I had the pleasure to meet him at Autumn care and enjoyed working with him , such a kind sweet man, enjoyed all our talks , he will be missed, sorry for your loss
