Family-Placed Obituary
HOKE, Samuel Aaron 96, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at DayView Care Center. He was born June 3, 1910 in New Carlisle the son of the late Harry B. & Ida Mae (Walter) Hoke. He had a Bachelor degree in Engineering from Ohio State University and his Masters from Xavior University. He was an Industrial Engineer with Chrysler Corporation later a professor in Economics at Bethel College. He was a member of the New Carlisle Missionary Church. He is survived by two daughters, Eunice and Sherman Bollinger of Morrison Colorado and Lois Hoke Smith of Estes Park, Colorado; daughter-in-law, Corrine Hoke Leoni of Arvada, Colorado; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Steven, Jerome, Angela, Vincent, MacKenzie and Elizabeth; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Frances Doenges of New Carlisle, Ruth House of Howell, Michigan, Naomi V. Hoke of New Carlisle; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Esther Ummel Hoke; two sons, Wayne and Paul Hoke; a sister, Mary E. Hoke. A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday January 19, 2007 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the New Carlisle Missionary Church. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gideons, International, P.O. Box 1753, Springfield, Ohio 45501. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.trostelchapman.com

I enjoyed coming back to New Carlisle and Visiting with Sam & Naomi.I am sorry i can't make his last reunion here on earth while he has his first reunion up their.
