Farewell, Sweet Shannon. No doubt your spirit lives on; brightly shining and bouncing to a Pointer Sisters song in the astral sphere. Thank you for the love and light you shared with me. A most beloved and loyal friend to all in your circle, you lived your convictions in truth and courage. Much love, Karen

My heart aches for Shannon's boys and her Mother. I knew Shannon back in the late 80's... we laughed so much together. I have so many wonderfully fun memories I will cherish. I pray your memories will help comfort you.

I am so sorry for your loss. She was one of the original group of "Friends". She was a true friend who would do anything for you. It was always great running into her at all the local festivals. She is in a better place.

Dear Joan, Nathan, Sean, & brother Rick -- Please allow me to express my deep sorrow and sadness for the loss of your daughter, mother, sister. Shannon was such a unique person and a rare spirit/force on this plane. I met Mark's sister, Shannon, (and brother Rick) when she was a young girl and Joan was kind enough to let me stash my "secret" motorcycle at their home in Huber South. My parents wouldn't allow me to have it so I had to sneak. Shannon and I became friends later in the 80s and I remember many fun times & great memories with her and the boys. In fact, one of the last was going to see Ricky Nelson's free Courthouse Square concert. And...Shannon is the friend who turned me on to Willie Nelson -- thanks for that, Shannon! To Shannon's other family members, same message....I'm just so sorry for your huge loss. Love to you all. Shannon's special energy will live on forever in your hearts and memories...I wish you peace and ease and comfort.
