Family-Placed Obituary

PAINTER, Sharon S. Age 60, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007 at Sycamore Hospital. Sharon was born October 15, 1946 in South Carolina to Edith (Stephens) Ross and the late Elmon Ross. She was very dedicated and enjoyed working as a PTA at Childens Medical Center and attended Kettering First Church of God. Sharon was passionate about working in her yard and decorating for Christmas. She was preceded in death by her dad, Elmon Ross and her former husband Charles N. Painter. Sharon is survived by her mother Edith & step-father Donald Hammonds of Pine Knot, Kentucky, two daughters Sheila & her husband Scott Winfield of Miamisburg, Raychelle & her husband Stan Landis of Miamisburg, 6 grandchildren of whom Sharon was really proud, Ryan and his wife Shannan, Amanda, Savannah, Todd, Noah and Kayla, one great- granddaughter Lyndsi, one brother Roger & his wife Sharon Ross of Salute, South Carolina, two sisters Beverly Smith of Dayton, and Paula & her husband Duke Abney of Lexington, Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm, Tuesday, January 16 at Conner & Koch Funeral Home, 92 West Franklin Street (S.R. 725), Bellbrook. Funeral services 11:00 am Wednesday at Kettering First Church of God, 1450 E. Dorothy Lane. Pastors Brian Newell and Tim Schrock will officiate. Interment in Davids Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.ConnerandKoch.com. Sharon was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
