Sheila Stroud Obituary
Sheila L. Stroud, age 68, went home to be with the Lord on August 1, 2023. She is survived by her daughter Shanica Wheeler; "grand-pup" Bailey Beau; one brother Frederick Stroud, Sr.; nieces and nephew Sherrita Stroud, Gabrielle Stroud, Frederick Stroud, Jr., Erica James and Ebony Stroud and a host of other great nieces and great nephews and other relatives and friends. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Rose Stroud and her nephew Sherrell Stroud. A public visitation will be Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 11am-1pm at Donald Jordan Memorial Chapel 4882 Germantown Pike Dayton, OH. A private burial will held at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life for Sheila Stroud and Sherrell Stroud will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023 from 4:30-7pm at The Avenue Event Venue 804 E. Monument Ave. Dayton, OH 45402.

My Childhood Friendship goes so far back with us singing in the choir at MountEnon,and Just a Few of Gods Children ensemble, and Institute of Dance for our Daughters.. And when we flew together to Georgia you were terrified of Flying We Shanica and I laughed so hard but held her hands..I can't wrap my Head around this one.. so unexpected my Dear I do Know this for certain that you were a woman after God's Own Heart I will Miss your Dearly

My words escapes me when I talk about my friend Sheila. My heart hurts to know she is not here anymore, I just can´t pick up the phone anymore and call her and talk about our JESUS, who she loved so deeply. I love you my friend, you will always be indented in my heart, for you we know to be absent from the body is to be in the presence of our king JESUS. Your not gone you just changed addresses. I truly will see you again and what a day. Thank you sweet Sheila for all your prayers that did reach the throne room of GOD. Shanica Miss Liz love you, and praying for the warmth and peace of GOD´S love to surround you and be the lifter of your head. I love you.
