My heart is filled with wonderful memories and joyful times at Stivers-Patterson Co-Op High School. Stephanie always had a beautiful smile and a kind word of encouragement even back in the days of high school. God is so Awesome, Her light was shining brightly at an early age. I did not know Stephanie personally, but I remember her mom Mrs. Benson talking about her when we worked together at Dunbar Childcare Center. I pray that God's loving arms will be a comfort to you.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Stephanie. I knew her through Mary Black as we all worked for SRC. We attended a meeting together on May 16th. Stephanie had a glow, a warmth,a love that encompensed all who came into her presence. I am blessed to have known her. I love you and will miss you,Stephanie.

That was my name I used to call you. Your passing has left such a deep loss in our souls. I was birthed at "Higher D" and under your leadership. You were the one who helped me to step into servantship and leadership when you trick me into becoming an usher. That has propelled me into my destiny and help me to become the "minister in mime" that I am today. Being with you was like an easy summer day. Your smile could light up a room and our lives. We talked about getting a reunion together of all the old "Higher D" members, well you got your wish. Leave it to you to have the biggest reunion ever--the celebration of your life. Now I know why I called you "Step", you helped all of us to "step" into our destiny. We will always love you and miss you beyond the grave.

Stephanie, what can I say?????? I miss you so much it's unreal. How can you say goodby to a best friend of 30 years, you can't! Words just can't express how I feel right now, but God knows. I'm just so thankful for all the laughs, the talks, the shopping, the walks, the dinners, the excitement about God, and yes the iron sharpening iron,(lol). I feel like I've lost a limb but you know I'm happy that you finally have peace, and you can finally rest, even if you could I wouldn't ask you to come back you deserve the best and the best is to be with our heavenly father, so I won't say goodby I'll just say goodnight, and I'll see you in the morning. Sleep well my friend, I will truly, truly miss you!

Its still unbelievable that she is no longer on this earth! It is so surreal! I miss her sooooo much!! I'm praying for the family! She will be truly missed!! All the wisdom, encouragement, support, love that she has shown me and my family, it greatly appreciated! I don't know what I would have done without her when I first came to Dayton. She was an absolute angel in my life! She took me and my children in as her own and took me under her wing. She helped push me into the woman I am today and I will never forget her!! I just want to extend my personal condolences to all of us who knew and loved our dear sister. I believed we all loved her beyond words and that her transition has effected us all.
Her smile was able to light up an entire room and her heart was full of love and generous.
From a child she loved God and God was her focus all her life. She loved the Lord and I know He loved her. This shall be her legacy.
