Family-Placed Obituary

CONGER, Steven W. Jr. 32, of Trotwood, departed this life on Saturday November 4, 2006 at his home. Preceded in death by his sister, Stephanie Lynn, and his grandfather, Ralph Smith. Left behind to cherish his memory; parents, Steven & Mary Conger; wife, Renee; his 3 children, Shianne, Steven Ill & Summer; sister & brother-in-law, Suzette & Chris Wertz; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Larry & Helen Bryant; brother-in-law, Larry, II; 2 nieces, Krista & Chelsie; nephew, Christopher; grandparents, Homer & Phyllis Dye, Bessie & Jack Smith; host of aunts, uncles, cousins and very special friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to those who have made contributions & paid their condolences. Funeral service 1:00 pm. Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "North Dayton Chapel", 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Pastor Doug Criswell, officiating. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Brookville, Ohio. Steven's family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service (12-1 p.m.) Wednesday at the George C. Martin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated.

I will miss you Steve you were and always be in my heart. you were and still will be a good friend. we had a lot of good times together back in the day. I cant believe this happened you were such a good guy. I am broke up about what happened to you. god took the wrong guy. I am so sorry I could int be there for you. I want you to know my prays our with your family,I am so lost for words, I wish I could be there I'm not able to make it, But Did want to share with you how I met Steve I went to school with steve in the jr high and Steve was so nice to me alot of kids picked on me and Steve stood up for me in school. And was the only one who did. Steve will be miss by everyone who new him.
