News Death Notice
SCHNEIDER, Steven Joseph Age 55 of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015. He was born August 1, 1959 in Evansville, IN to the late Bernard and Hazel "Dusty" (Pfister) Schneider. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Steven was gifted at hanging wallpaper and was an astute card player and bowler. His greatest pride was being a dad and grandfather. He is survived by his children: Cory, Coty, Casey, Camden and Chase Schneider, granddaughter: Lillie, siblings: Kathy (Mark) Daniel, Larry (Cindy) Schneider, Jackie (Randy) Lewis, David Schneider, Jim (Joni) Schneider, Debbie (Glen) Szelestey, Dr. Tamera (Mike Deffet) Schneider, 17 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. The Kindred Funeral Home, Englewood is handling arrangements. I knew Steve for most of my life. We bowled together since childhood. He was always there to lend a hand if he was asked. He will be missed by so many. His heart was as kind as his smile.
