News Death Notice
NORMAN JR., Stuart "Buggs" Thomas (Omar Mohammed) age 71, a lifelong resident of Dayton, departed this earth unexpectedly on Friday, December 2, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stuart T. and Vera (Byrd) Norman. He is survived by his loving family: daughter, Terri L. Marzette; son, Stuart Thomas Norman III; his soul mate of 47 years, Jacquelyn Marzette; brothers, Wilber K. (PeeWee) Norman and Charles Micheal Norman; special relatives, The Byrds and Peters, and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He loved you all. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Final disposition: Cremation. Arrangements entrusted to Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Ave. Online condolences may also be sent to the family at www.thomasfunerals.com

sorry to the norman family for you lost at this time of sorrow. mr. norman was a well respected man. no one will ever forget the "special delivery" of sturat normans 1955' chevy beretta "war" wagon on the june 1990 front cover of super stock. it was one of the first times an african american owned race car and pit crew was featured in that magazine. it is said that the possibility of anyone duplicating his sedan-delivery is remote, since there never a mold made from the chevys body.... may god continue to bless this family and may the legacy of this legend live on for years to come........
