SINGLETON (Smith), Susan Kay Age 50 of Hamilton, passed away at Mercy Hospital Fairfield, on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Susan was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 11, 1966 to William Smith and Carol (Anderson) Smith. She was a Hamilton High School 1984 alumni. On November 20, 1989 she married Doug Singleton, of Hamilton. Susan graduated with an Associates in Accounting from Southern Ohio College of Business and an Associates in Nursing from Cincinnati State. She worked as an LPN while pursuing her nursing degree, then became an RN at Mercy Fairfield 3 Tower for 15 years. Susan was an avid online gamer and loved her dogs, Scout, Leo and Daisy. Susan is survived by her husband of 27 years, Doug Singleton; her children, Scott and Sydney Singleton; her siblings, Tonya (Smith) Combs and Jason Smith; numerous nieces and nephews; and her nursing "family" at Mercy Fairfield 3 Tower. Susan was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave, Hamilton, Ohio, on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Mike Botts officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home.
