Aufrichtige Anteilnahme.
Erinnerung von Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Je schöner und voller die Erinnerung,
Desto schwerer die Trennung.
Aber die Dankbarkeit verwandelt die
Erinnerung in stille Freude.
Man trägt das vergangene Schöne nicht wie einen Stachel, sondern wie ein kostbares Geschenk in sich.

I too am one of the many who were blessed to have known and worked with Susanne. Epecially in the area of lymphedema treatment that she brought to the Springfield area. Through this she has touched countless lives. Susanne had an amazing way about her and a smile that could light up a room! Earlier I heard the song "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me and Susanne was heavy on my heart. The lyrics ask "... will I dance for you Jesus or in awe of you be still..." and I'm sure Susanne danced! My deepest sympathies and prayers to Joe, Collin, Anna and all of Susanne's family.

Susanne had a demeanor that brought peace into any setting. I had the opportunity to work with Susanne at Community Hospital and was blessed by knowing her. May Heavenly Father's spirit be with you during this time.

I worked with Susanne at Community Hospital, and I was one of the many she trained in lymphedema management. She brought an entirely new therapy approach to many who previously had no access to it in this area. I'm praying God's peace will comfort you at this time and throughout the future. I'm afraid any words at this time will seem shallow, but Christmas is not only the celebration of a birth; it's also the promise of resurrection and eternal life.

My heart goes out to you now and in the days ahead. In the limited time I spent with Susanne at work, I learned much from her, both personally and professionally. Her wisdom and spirit made a difference in my life. I wish we all had more time with her.

Dear Weidner family,
I have had the priviledge of working with Susanne for the last 5 years here at Kettering Hospital. She was so dedicated in both her personal and professional life, a true mentor to live by. She will be greatly missed. You are in my prayers.

Weidner Family,
I am so sorry to hear about susanna's passing. I was in Bible study with her at PPC on & off the past few years, most recently this past fall. i also had seen her at the hosipital the past few weeks while visiting my mother there. she had beautiful eyes, and a sunny look when she smiled at you. her love for her children was apparent as she frequently spoke of them & prayed for them. She expressed her desire to istall God's love and truths into their lives.
my heart aches as you have lost your wife, mother, daughter, sister, and frined. I asked "why", a young mother Lord? but yet, we know we must continue to trust in God and His plan for our lives. He will hold you close and comfort you if you keep turning to Him. Though she would never choose to leave you, what a thrill it must have been to meet her saviour whom she loved.
" When my heart was grieved
and my spirit embittered,
.... you hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will take me into glory. 25 Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Psalm 73: 21-28
God Bless.

Susanne was a very dear co-worker and friend to me for over 10 years. Some traits of hers that come to mind are - loving, smart, caring, kind, sincere, Christ-like, happy, cheerful, good listener, understanding, wise and peaceful. She was exceptional in her service and compassion to others. She touched my life and made it better. I will miss her greatly! My heartfelt sympathy and prayers as we remember Susanne's life which was so very well-lived.
