LOWE, Talmadge Eugene "'Pappy, Tutor" age 75, of Dayton, passed away Tues., March 28, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Born April 7, 1930 in Stonega, VA. He was an 82nd Airborne, U.S. Army veteran with service during W.W.II. Gene was preceded in death by his parents John & Nan (Wilson) Lowe, 1 brother Ronald Lowe, 2 sisters Judith Collier and Arlene Smith, 1 son Robert Beeghly Jr. and 3 grandsons Robbie Darner and David and Steven Lowe. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Shirley; 3 daughters Kathy Morgan (Winston) of Springfield, Janet Pohl (Bill) of Bellbrook and Diana Cockerman (Bud) of Huber Heights; 5 sons James Lowe of Sevierville, TN, Steven Lowe (Diane) of Dayton, David Lowe (Robyn) of Huntersville, NC, Bobby Lowe of Enon and Tim Beeghly of Dayton; 1 loving sister Sue Allen of Dayton; 23 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Pappy will be sadly missed by his family, friends and his babies (dogs) Toby, Daisy and Peanut. Funeral services 10 A.M., Fri., March 31, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Pastor Scott Sliver officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday (TODAY) from. 5 - 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions, if so desired, may be given to Hospice of Dayton in Gene's memory.
