I have so many incredible memories of Indian Lake with Grandpa Tom and the rest of the family. Fishing around Grandpas house by the big cotton wood tree and fully hiking the E Scow out in good wind. Grandpa Tom was always so happy. I think whenever he had a chance to share model planes and boats with the grandkids it was pretty exciting. I appreciated that so much. I'm definitely glad to carry on his "Gusto" for so many things like art and being on the water. It's a privelage to be a grandson of someone who always seemed ready to go and eager to share his enthusiasm and skills, and always had a friendly face. I could'nt help but smile everytime I saw Grandpa Tom and I'll always appreciate and smile when I think of him. I will miss him very much.

Dabo will be truely missed. My fondness memories are not only of the times spent at Indian Lake being on the scow, but at Island Bay when Dabo was able to find wind when there was no wind to be found, we would just move ever so quietly to the next mark, and he would say " hike out to leeward". Dabo and I also have shared many times working on HO gauge model trains creating our own magical world in minature.
