Thomas Ralston Obituary

Ralston, Thomas H.

Thomas Huston Ralston, born to Aileen and Harvey Ralston on January 10, 1963 at Kettering Hospital was ushered into heaven by all the loves ones he so dearly missed on January 9, 2025.

Tom and his family were quite close as he grew up. He would sit on his special stool out in his dad's work shop, watching his father tinker with this and that, or fix a car, listening to the CB radio chatter. His first words of course were 10-4 good buddy.

Through the years, Tom remained close to his family and helped out whenever he could. He also has a brother Harvey 10 years his elder.

Tom met his future wife in 1985 and married September 1986. They were soul mates as soon as their eyes met. Their love was deep and unbreakable.

Tom's employment spanned being a mechanic, break shop management, plumbing, an A1 car salesman for many lots and selling AT&T door to door.

Tom's health declines at an early age. He was so very grateful to our circle of friends that would stop by and bring life and love to our home. Those that blessed our lives in countless ways are Lynne Reilly, Ted Norbut, Jody Lapine, Sandy and Tony Combs, Gary Williams, our two special Eric's and Jerry from Huber. Tom felt that he could die in peace with such a strong safety net around Karen Doctor Nelson also was a great friend and meant the world to Tom as did many others at the clinic.

Tom was predeceased by his parents, his brother and sister in law, Karen's parents, and many other relatives. As far as Karen, his loving and devoted wife, her heart will always belong to Thomas awaiting the day that we are reunited in heaven.

For those of you that were not mentioned, may God have mercy on your souls. Private services will be held at the family's request.

Today was unlike any other. My heart longs to be with you.my mins and body are on auto pilot. I do what I must to get by. I wish you had left a note. I wish so many things. I wish I could dream of you at night or knew if the Lord was hearing my prayers about you. I will always hold you tight in my memories and in my heart.

Today was a frustrating day but I got through it. I so wish you were here with me. You are alive in my heart, soul and mind in every breathe I take. I hope you can hear my prayers. I don't know if you are in a sleep like state like Dr. Nelson said or if you are already in heaven. I hope that I am making you proud of me as I try to get through time without you. I look so forward to seeing you again and spending eternity with you and our family. You are so missed.

There are a lifetime of memories to share. You are the star in each of them. I really hope that jodis dream was true, and that you had a smile on your face and seemed to be at peace. This was such of a difficult year for you health wise and so hard on me to watch you suffer in so many ways I am glad that I did not have to come home today from the the cardiologist and tell you more bad news. At least I was blessed by feeding Cleo tonight. I was not sure if she survived the past few weeks with the frigid temps and all the snow. She looks well. I miss and love you more than words can ever say. I keep you safely guarded around my heart and soul. You will always remain the most important part of my entire life. Please tell everyone that I love them. Give Tasha,Brandi, Goldie, puddins, rocky, bullwiggles, Samantha and all the rest of our fur babies lots of hugs and kisses from me
