Family-Placed Obituary

VAUGHN, Tony age 51 of Dayton departed this life on Thursday, May 20, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was a native Daytonian and a graduate of Roosevelt High School, class of 1971. He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Vaughn; brother, Curtis Lee Vaughn and grandparents. He leaves to cherish his memory; a loving mother, Pearlie M. Vaughn; wife, Maria Vaughn; (3) daughters, Chantell Spears, Chanell Vaughn (Dwayne) and Chatanna Vaughn (Craig); sisters and brothers-in-law, Johnnie (William Michael) Motley, Jeanette (William Lawrence) Whitmore; (6) grandchildren, Donte', Brian, Bria', Brandon, Craig and Cierra; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Lawrence Kilgore. Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 2262 N. Gettysburg Ave., with Reverend Sylvester Walker, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment, Woodland Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Ave. Condolences may also be sent to the family via e-mail at [email protected]
