Family-Placed Obituary
MAZZOTTA, Vera our beloved mother, age 90, of Kettering passed away Monday, May 30, 2005 at Kettering Medical Center. Vera was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas in 1977, granddaughter, Denise Gulino in 2000 and one sister. Vera is survived by her 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Jane (Virgil) Gulino of Kettering, Sylvia (Jerry) Kindle of Centerville and Elaine Dues of Kettering; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Joseph (Nancy) Mazzotta of Kettering; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren whom she loved and cared for very much. The family would like to give thanks to Dr. Ziwar Karabatak for his caring and loving dedication for our mother. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 10:30 AM, June 4, 2005 at St. Francis of Assisi Church with Father Tom Schmidt officiating. Entombment in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 5-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. In memory of Vera, contributions for masses may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45459. Condolences may be sent to the family via the funeral home's website at: www.routsong.com.
