Nothing makes sense anymore, how could you leave us without premising? Don’t you know what you mean to us? You’re the one who held us together, wiped our tears and made us strong. You’re the one that made us proud and hopeful, and brought joy and happiness in everyone’s heart. I use to look at you facebook every day to make sure you were Ok, that you were happy and fulfilled. We tried to protect you from every small and big thing in life, yet somehow we failed. We were looking forward to see you grow, and graduate, finish your college and get your fist apartment… We had plans for you. Life is just unfair.
I am so sorry Wael that we were not there when you took your last breath, I am sorry if we have failed you, or disappointed you son, I am sorry that you are not spending the night in your bed anymore, I am sorry if you felt alone when your time came. Life will never be the same without you hanouni.
Maa, Hajira, Lila, Karima, Fatiha, Selma, Yara, Zohra, Rania, Racha, and I, love more than anything in this world. You have been an Angle to us all,and we have had the pleasure to raise you and love you and be a part of your life. for that we thank you. Wael a été rappelé à Dieu à la fleur de l’âge et cette douloureuse circonstance a attristé ses parents, la famille Moudjed entière, les proches et les amis auxquels je m’identifie. Même à des milliers de km, même n’ayant pas eu le plaisir de connaître Wael , je suis profondément touchée par ce rappel prématuré qui transcende notre perception humaine. Devant cette volonté divine, nous ne pouvons que prier notre créateur de prendre soin du jeune Wael, de lui réserver une place de choix dans son vaste paradis et de donner à toute la famille Moudjed, aux proches et alliés , volonté et courage pour surmonter cette dure épreuve.

To the family of Wael, words cannot express the sympathy I have for you at this time with the loss of your son. He has left behind lots of great memories with many people. I even have one to share. I remember many days that I would come home from an outting with my daughter and see Wael sitting in the window with the biggest smile on his face and yelling her name only to realize he was on the third floor. He always had a way of spreading joy and laughter to others. He will be missed greatly.

To Wael’s family,
I was very sad to hear about the death of Wael when we came back home last night. I will always remember Wael as a kind person who loved to make every one laugh.
I met Wael for the first time when he was at the Junior High School. He came to job-shadow me at the High School and sat the whole day in my classes; one of his goals, he told me, was to be a college professor. In the two years I had him in my French classes, Wael distinguished himself in oral presentations. He was very articulate and positive person. His confidence and willingness to explore issues based upon his presentations clearly made him a class leader.
I will miss his generous nature; his typical questions were” what are you doing this weekend Madame” or “how was your weekend Madame?”
May your memories give you strength.

I Have known you since our freshman year and we have always gotten along well. This year we had journalism together and it was a blast. We were both so excited that we were going to be co-news editors together next year. My heart is now heavy because i know when i walk into that class my friend and partner will not be there. Wael, its crazy.. we knew eachother from when we were younger catching lightning bugs and competing who could do the best cart wheels and you always won! we butt heads a lot then,but in the end you were someone who i could talk to about anything.. we talked about your religon about pigs, your language, even the dressing that is worn.. you let me into your life.. when i would lock my self out of my house i always came down to your house to use the phone lol. even though i never knew what your family was saying you would try and teach me. :) you made me smile all the time... coming up and tackling me in the middle of meijers yelling my name with brandon and shawn and the other guys haha. Wael you are a amazing friend, and i will always cherish the memories we had together.. luckly i got pictures with you maybe from a few years ago.. but i still got some :) the last thing i heard from you.. was you yelling my name through zachs phone about a week ago:) which made me laugh, you were always a shinning star.. and will always be just now your one of the stars lighting up the night sky...! you will never ever be forgotten, you enriched the lifes of many. and you will forever be missed. i will miss you buddy :) <3

Wael, you will always be my best friend. Even though you're gone, I can still feel you in my heart. I'm really going to miss being with you every day and getting ourselves into trouble. Wael, you will definitely be missed. ? I did not talk to you enough to be best friends with you, but I talked to you enough to understand how nice and genuine you were. The first time I talked to Wael was the last day of school. He was an awesome kid, and from what I've seen he was loved and cherished by SO MANY people. I wish I'd gotten to know him better. I'm sure he's in a better place now. Deepest condolences to all who had that opportunity.

Wael, I met you this year for the first time. You are on of the most funniest guy that i have ever met. It is so sad to know that you aren't going to be here with us anymore. We had math together and we would sit there everyday and laugh about the most stupidest things, Mrs. Marshall had to yell at us cause we would laugh so much. You would cheer me up if I was in a bad mood. You did this for a lot of people. Everyone is going to miss you so much. We all wish this didn't happen.
