I am so very sorry for your loss. Dr. Reiling was a great surgeon. I am a former patient from a serious car accident in 1973. Dr. Reiling's skill saved my life. I am forever grateful that he was the doctor on call that night. God Blessed me with a great surgeon and a caring individual. He would stop in and check on me everyday. I had the opportunity to have breakfast with him in June 2015 and say Thank You in person. It was a very special moment and one that I will treasure forever.

... this was such a great man...we lost a good one right here... i learned so many things throughout the years working with you...he taught me so so much...not just about surgery... but how to be compassionate...even when a patient was not so spring time fresh... so i say THANK YOU SIR... you will be truly missed Dr. Walter Reiling... your luving neighbor... Mrs. Holtmyer...lol. R.I.P.

We were so sad to hear of Walt's passing. We so admired him and his leadership in organized medicine. He leaves shoes not easily filled because of his deep dedication to his art. We cherish the memories of sharing times with you both at so many events. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
