Wendy ~
I am lighting five candles in honor of you.... One for our GRIEF.. one for our COURAGE..one for our MEMORIES.. one for our LOVE
..and one for HOPE ~

the first candle represents our GRIEF ~ The pain of losing you is intense. It reminds us of the depth of our love for you "Our joy and are sorrow are inseperable"

The second candle represents COURAGE ~ to confront our sorrow, to comfort each other -to change our lives "Even like a chain, we are as weak as the weakest link. This is but half the truth - We are as strong as the stronest link!"

The third candle is lit in your MEMORY ~ the times we laughed, the times we cried ~ the silly things you did - the caring and joy you gave us ~ This light is also for the memories that never were. Even though our memories can bring pain, in time we can look upon our memories of you as yesterdays gift of the heart.

The fourth candle is the light of LOVE. As we enter each new day, we cherish the place in our hearts that will always be reserved for you. We thank you for the joy your living brought to us.

The fifth candle is the light of HOPE. It reminds us of love, and memories of you that are ours forever. May the glow of the flame be our source of hopefulness now and forever. We love you and will always keep you close in our hearts.

My first memory of Wendy Dawn goes back to her barely being tall enough to look over the storm door window. She would look across the courtyard of the doubles and wave to Amber. She was so beautiful she looked just like an angel. By the time she was 7, I remember she knew she had more than her daddy wrapped around her tiny fingers. She had in fact everyone wrapped around them. There are many cherished memories of laughs and tears over the years. Yahtzee, home made Easter baskets, screaming kids...who would have known those truly were some of the 'best times of our lives'. Wendy Dawn will always be in my heart. I love you and miss you all very much.

Dear Darrell, Patty,Chad,Dakota & Montana,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I have many good memories of Wendy growing up. Lost contact with her as adults but always still thought of her as a friend. She will be miss. Hold on to the memories close to your heart. God bless you all and help you through this.

Steven & Lynne Booher

March 6, 2008

Dear Darrell, Patty,Chad,Dakota & Montana,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. Steven, myself and the boys remember the days when you used to watch the boys and they all played at your house. I remember very vividly walking into your house and Patty was playing Zelda waiting on the kids to arrive. Wendy was always spoiling the boys and Kissing Joel's cheeks. I'll never forget when Wendy went to prom and came over to the Bennett's so we could take pictures of her. She was such a beautiful child. Hang on to the good memories and hopefully God will help you all get through this.
If there is anything at all we can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.
Love,
The Booher's
