Family-Placed Obituary

GOODE, William H. Age 71 of W. Carrollton, passed away Friday, January 5, 2007 at his residence. He was born June 8, 1935 in Shelby Co., Ohio the son of the late Charles F. & Mary (Amspach) Goode. A member of the American Legion, honorable served his country with the U.S. Army and was a retired employee of Hartwig Transfer. Preceded in death by 2 sisters. He is survived by his loving companion of 40 years Karen J. Miller, his brother Charles Goode of Cincinnati, and 2 sisters Margaret Chambers of W. Carrollton, Rose Butsch and husband Tom of Piqua. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART FUNERAL HOME, W. Carrollton.
