William GRIZZELL Obituary


News Death Notice

GRIZZELL, William R. 94, of Dayton, OH passed away Wednesday April 11, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents; his oldest son, Bill Grizzell; and 3 brothers. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jean Grizzell; daughter, Pamela Harrington; sons, Dennis Grizzell and Tom and Debbie Grizzell all of Dayton, OH; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Bill was a WWII US Army Veteran serving in the European Theater and he was a Deacon for 48 years at the Calvary Baptist Church in Middletown, OH. Visitation is Monday April 16, 2012 from 1pm to 2pm with funeral service starting at 2pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek, OH. Interment is in Dayton National Cemetery. Pastor Tom Bowman is officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We are grateful to have had opportunity to meet and visit Bill Grizzell and his family. He was a treasure find in our family search and we are proud to be connected to this remarkable man. God be with you.
