William Miskell Obituary

Miskell, William James "Bo"

Bill Miskell passed away quietly in his sleep August 21, 2025 after an almost 2 year struggle with lung cancer.

He was born on August 31, 1945 in Scranton, PA to Marjory Sammon Miskell and James Miskell. He attended St. Ann Elementary School in Scranton, PA. In 1963, he graduated from West Scranton Senior High School. Following high school, Bill enlisted in the navy where he was stationed in Florida. After his service he continued living in Florida where met his wife Jane Tegge Miskell. In 1968 he was married and started life with his wife Jane in Hamilton, Ohio. They became parishoners of St. Ann's in Hamilton, Ohio and had 2 children, Kelli Miskell Lewis and Marc Miskell. Bill worked for Fisher Body until 1987, then was transferred to Grand Rapids, MI where we remained until 1995. In 1996 he took a job with Saturn in Columbia, Tennessee and retired from there in 2000 then moving to Florida. Around 2002, Bill moved back to Hamilton where he resided until 2024. During this time he was given the name "Bo" by his beloved granddaughter Susanna. He spent the last year living in California to be cared for by his daughter.

Bill (Bo) was preceded in death by his parents, wife Jane Tegge Miskell, his brother James Miskell, sister Jackie Miskell Ferraro, sister MaryAnn Farrell, sister Elizabeth Miskell and his son Marc Miskell.

He leaves behind a sister Pat Miskell Paff, brothers Michael Miskell and John Miskell, daughter Kelli Miskell Lewis, 6 grandchildren - Anthony Lewis, Chase Lewis, Marcus Miskell, Susanna Miskell, Kaden Miskell, Braden Miskell and 2 chosen granddaughters Nadia Wilson & Ella Wilson.

Bill (Bo) requested to be cremated followed by a "Celebration Of life" at his happy place, The Eagles Club in Hamilton, Ohio. He wants to be remembered for the happy times. Dates & Times will be posted on his & his daughter Kelli Miskell Lewis' Facebook page.
