William Paugstat Obituary
News Death Notice
PAUGSTAT, William C. Age 80, of Brookville, was welcomed home by the Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 following a brief illness. Bill was preceded in death by his sister Irma, and parents Hugo and Emma. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie; sons, Tom, David, Dan (Tricia) Paugstat, and daughter Ruth (Kent) Harris; grandchildren, Ciara, Savannah, and Zachary; brothers Harry and John (Darlene) Paugstat; sisters Frieda Seidel and Grace Montgomery; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31 at the Grace Bible Church (248 W. Salem , Clayton) corner of W. Salem and Kimmel with Pastor Darryl Ditmer officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 12:00 p.m. until time of services. Interment will be held privately at Clayton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grace Bible Church c/o the William Paugstat Fund (248 W. Salem, Clayton, OH 45315), envelopes will be provided. I would like to add my condolence to Bill's family from Ndola Zambia. Our family and the Paugstat family were part of the Dayton Mission congregation. It was a pleasure to visit briefly with Bill at Messiah College Homecoming in October after many years.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Bill. I have pleasant memories of growing up in Dayton with the Paugstats part of our church family. I remember Bill and his motorcycle.
