Family-Placed Obituary

WALDEN, Zelma age 88, of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2004. Mrs. Walden was born in Waukau, Wisconsin, November 23, 1916 and was preceded in death by her husband, Claude F. in 1997; daughter, Betty Barkhurst; three sisters, Barbara Allen, Martha Warner and Mary Soward; 2 brothers, Walter and Charles Emmert. Survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Claudia and Bill Bittner, Judy and Ron Young; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Lavern, Charles and Gail; son-in-law, Paul Barkhurst; 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild; sister, Grace Nardi; brother, John Emmert and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Friday at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "Northridge Chapel", 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Pastor Roy Maxwell, officiating. Interment Glen Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the George C. Martin Funeral Home. If desired, memorials may be made to either the Marshall Road Church of God, 4400 Marshall Road, Kettering, OH 45429 or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
