James Huffine Obituary
James was a graduate of Parkway High School.
He worked at the former Chrysler Amplex/GKN Sintered Metals in Van Wert for many years. He then retired from the Eaton Corporation in Van Wert.
James enjoyed working on cars, fishing, helping his neighbors and, most importantly, he loved attending and supporting all of his grandchildren's sports activities.
He was a faithful member and enjoyed attending Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church of Convoy.
Surviving are his wife, Pamela Huffine of Convoy; two sons, Trent (Michelle) Huffine of Scott, Ohio and Troy (Angela) Huffine of Convoy; six grandchildren, Breanna, Devin, Brayden, Memphis, Cruze and Liberty Huffine; and a sister, Carolyn Griffiths of Decatur, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Louise Huffine; brothers, Richard, Ronnie and Donnie Huffine; and a brother in law, Keith Griffiths.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church, 6034 Mentzer Church Rd, Convoy, Oh, 45832 with Pastor Laura Clark, officiating. Interment will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Convoy.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to service time on Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in James's memory may be directed to Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church.
