Larry Strickler Obituary
Larry was born in Decatur, Indiana on May 22, 1939, a son of the late Mabel (Donifon) and Clarence Strickler.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Navistar after 36 years of service. Larry enjoyed riding his bicycle and taking walks around Payne. He was most proud of being a husband, father and grandfather.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Colleen "Sue" (Hook) to whom he was married Feb. 23, 1963; sons, Randall (Kathleen) & Lynn (Rebecca); grandchildren, Kayla, Katelyn, Spencer & Trisha Strickler and Ashley (Matt) Gouker & great grandchildren, Sophia & Hudson Gouker, Waylon & Wynonna Vordran and Brezlyn, Teagan & Ryker Strickler.
Larry was also preceded in death by his sister, Lavon Ruth Watkins.
Viewing is Monday, April 11th, 4 PM to 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.
Service is Tuesday, April 12th, 10:30 AM, with viewing one hour prior, Edgerton Wesleyan Church, 1717 Bertha St, Woodburn, Indiana.
He will be laid to rest at Lehman Cemetery, with military honors.
