Martha Myers Obituary
Martha was a member of Wren Garden Club, Wren Historical Society, GE Retirees and Wren United Brethren Church. She was also a Sunday school teacher and a piano player at the church.
Her hobbies included gardening, bird watching, letter writing to soldiers in World War II and reading. Martha loved spending time with her family and friends.
Martha retired in 1979 from General Electric with 39 years of service.
Among survivors are her nephews, Robert (Dianne) Myers of Sebring, Fla., and Neil L. Myers of Ohio City, Ohio; and many great- and great-great nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Arno Myers and David L. Myers; and two nephews, James A. Myers and Karl Todd Myers.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Millay officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Decatur.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. Friday, also at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to Wren EMS.
