AGE: 63 • Newark
Alfred Francis Zickgraf, Jr., age 63, of Newark, DE, passed away at home Monday, August 8, 2016. Alfred loved being around people. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Alfred enjoyed working on puzzle books, playing cards, hunting, fishing, and cooking all while munching on his favorite snacks! He cherished his family who will miss him greatly.
Alfred is survived by his lifelong best friend, Patricia M. Zickgraf; children: Tracy Ciamaricone (William), Patricia Zickgraf, and Al Zickgraf III (Melissa); grandchildren: Fiore, Ashley, Emily, Aubrey, and Zoey; and siblings: Florence Zickgraf, Thomas Zickgraf (Sharon), John Zickgraf (Donna), Lee Zickgraf, and Doris Dowdy (David).
A visitation will be held Monday, August 15, 2016, from 9:30-11 AM at Strano & Feeley Family Funeral Home, 635 Churchmans Rd., Newark, DE 19702 followed by a service in celebration of Alfred's life at 11 AM. So sad to hear that Al is gone . I have a lot of good memories of him and Patsy . Actually all of the Zickgraf family. It's been awhile since I've seen you all but still remember. Keeping you all in my prayers. He is probably having a great time catching up with all family and friends who were waiting for him on the other side. I know my Mom loved him . God bless
